Uygulamadaki mevcut “Bildir” seçeneğini kullanabilir veya [email protected] adresine uygulama adı ve sorunun açıklamasıyla uygunsuz içeriği bildirebilir, kısıtlamaya itiraz edebilirsiniz. Gerekli olmadıkça hassas kişisel bilgi göndermeyin. Bildirimler incelenir ve gereken önlem alınır.
Ret geçmişi, hesabınıza bağlı zaman ve neden/tür bilgisinden oluşur; reddedilen metin, fotoğraf veya ses ret kaydına eklenmez. Content safety and moderation — 17 October 2026
Child abuse or sexual exploitation, explicit pornography, sexual violence, hate, harassment, encouragement of serious violence, illegal activity and content violating others’ rights are prohibited.
Story request fields and generated stories are automatically checked using word rules and OpenAI Moderation; generation stops if checks cannot complete. Sexual, hateful, harassing and graphic violent content unsuitable for children is not accepted. Three input rejections within 30 minutes trigger a temporary pause; serious or repeated abuse may lead to a manually imposed restriction on AI access.
You may use the existing in-app report option or Report inappropriate content or appeal a restriction by emailing [email protected] with the app name and a description of the issue. Avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information. Reports are reviewed and appropriate action is taken.
The rejection history contains the time and reason/type linked to your account; rejected text, photos or audio are not added to that record. Deleting your account/data in this app deletes the rejection history. If your shared sign-in identity remains for our other apps, a separate account restriction may remain to prevent abuse; it is not the rejection history. Contact us to appeal or make a data request.
Masalo is an app for children and deliberately keeps data collection to a minimum. It contains no ad network, no behavioural tracking and no third-party analytics SDK.
Data that stays on the device
Child profile (name, age), favourites, reading progress, drawings, family memories and voice recordings are stored only in the device's local storage. They are never uploaded to a server.
Account and optional sign-in
Masalo can be used without signing up: on first launch a technical account with a random user identifier is created in the background. If a parent wants to, they can link this account to Google, Apple or email and password under Parent area → Settings → Protect your account, which sits behind an adult question. This step is entirely optional; no feature requires it and sign-in is never requested on the screens a child uses.
Once the account is protected, the parent's email address is stored on the server together with the user identifier. No name is requested or stored. With Sign in with Apple, the refresh token Apple issues is kept on the server only so that Apple access can be revoked when the account is deleted; the app cannot read it — only the authorised server-side service can. The email address is not used for marketing and is not shared with anyone.

The child's real name is never sent to the server. When a continuation or a reformat is requested, the text of the selected previous story and a universe summary are also sent as context. When “Report inappropriate” is used, only the user identifier and the generation request id are recorded; the story text is not included.
Microphone
Microphone permission is requested only when an adult taps the record button. Recordings are created on the device and are never uploaded.
Children's privacy
The app collects no name, email, location, contact list or precise device identifier from children. Optional sign-in, purchases and parent settings sit behind an adult gate (the parent area); the email address used to sign in belongs to the parent and is collected only if the parent chooses to.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Parent area → Settings → Delete my account and data to permanently delete your Masalo account, your email address, your subscription record and all data on the device; if you signed in with Apple, Apple access is revoked as well. If you use the same Google, Apple or email account in our other apps, only your Masalo data is deleted; the shared sign-in record is kept and your account there is not affected.
